Scouts BSA Game Design Merit Badge

Workshop Length: 7 hours
Description: What makes a computer game fun? Explore how game mechanics and rules set the tone for an entertaining experience. Change the objectives in the game and design your own level as you put all your skills and knowledge to work creating a customized computer game. This Merit Badge is advanced; advanced computer skills are required as creating a successful game is not easy, but can be very rewarding!
Important Notes:
- Includes a 30-minute break; please bring food or money to purchase food or a snack in the café.
- Discovery World does not provide the physical badge for badge workshops.

- Registration closes 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the workshop.
To complete your registration, we will require the full name of all registrants be submitted. Only registrants signed up for the workshop whose name appears on our roster will be allowed in the workshop.
