Learn to Sail Camp (Ages 8-11 Only)

Camp Dates: July 6-10, 2020

Camp Run Time: 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Age Requirement: This camp is restricted to 8-11 year olds only.

Camp Description: Discovery World and the Milwaukee Community Sailing Center (MCSC) are partnering to explore the world of sailing; including water safety, sail rigging and theory, basic maneuvers, and more. Campers will spend half the day sailing the waters of Lake Michigan and the other half exploring the science behind this pastime.

• $400 Members
• $400 Non-Members

Other Important Notes:

• Swim Check Form Required: Ability to swim at least 25 yards is required. Each child must submit a Swim Check Form to be completed by a certified lifeguard prior to camp start.
• Extended Care: Any camper who needs to be dropped off before 9:10 AM (Tue-Fri) or who needs to be picked up after 4:50 PM (Mon-Fri) must be registered for extended care. Advanced registration is required. Campers picked up after 5:30 PM will be charged an additional $5.00 for every 5 minutes.
• Refund, Rescheduling, and Cancellation Policies: All refund, cancellation, and rescheduling policies will be strictly enforced. Please make sure to read over these policies thoroughly. Visit the Summer Camp webpage for full details.
